Parent Organization: Academic
The purpose of the UMGC is to build a community of people who share an enthusiasm for the study of geology and related fields. As a University Club, we organize opportunities for undergraduate students to learn about, and experience fundamental topics in geology, earth science and geography, outside of the classroom. In order to broaden our knowledge, the UMGC will participate in outreach activities with existing Geoscience Clubs within the Five-College Consortium.
