Lead UMass: The Subconscious Leader: How Socialization, Culture, and Leadership Theory Impact You!

This session will identify common Leadership Development theories and philosophy and help students recognize how those shape how we approach leadership in  different settings, with different people, and diverse objectives.  We will also examine through various activities and case studies how diverse cultures and backgrounds, socialization, amongst other factors play a role in shaping your perception of leadership and its role in everyday life experience.

Lead UMass programs are open to ALL students regardless of past leadership skills or training and participation is FREE! All students who wish to participate in the Lead UMass certificate program should e-mail lead@umass.edu for more information or attend this workshop.


NOTE: This session can also meet the requirements of the Intellectual Growth and Leadership Theory elective.
