Parent Organization: Student Activities and Involvement
Welcome!! The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life can provide information about a wide array of spiritual resources and interfaith programs at UMass Amherst. Whether you're "religious" or not, and whatever your background (Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Unitarian, Buddhist, Baha'i, Pagan, Native, etc), we can help you find a student organization or club, other organizations (such as the Newman Catholic Center, Hillel, or a local church, synagogue or mosque), or a religious adviser to serve your spiritual needs. Or if you're simply searching for ways to find greater meaning and purpose in life, or a deeper connection to our community or the world beyond UMass (for example, through interfaith community service opportunities), we're here to support you!!
Check out the "Religious and Spiritual Life" website (www.umass.edu/religious_affairs) for a comprehensive list of resources.
If you're interested in connecting (in fun ways) with students from diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds, check out the UMASS INTERFAITH ALLIANCE on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/179295115513184/
Or contact us for more information. We're here for you!
NOTE: Our office has moved to the Student Union, Room 308. It's a lovely space... feel free to visit!!
