Interfaith Community Service Project

Details

When: Sunday, February 10 2013, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Location: Off-Campus
Category: Community Service

To promote interfaith understanding and cooperation, the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and UMass Habitat for Humanity are partnering on an Interfaith Community Service project. Students from diverse religious backgrounds volunteer (on a Sunday) to help build houses for families who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford one. No special skills or experience are required.

Note: Our scheduled event on February 10 has been cancelled (because there won't be any work that volunteers can do that week). But please consider signing up for one of our future builds...

To volunteer for our March 10 or April 7 events, or to learn more about this project, please visit our web page at http://www.umass.edu/religious_affairs/programs/
