Ski & Board Club

Interested in competition skiing or snowboarding? Well here's your chance to show off your moves and compete to win a sponsorship from a local ski shop or ski mountain and other awesome prizes.

Anyone can come and watch the event, as well as visit one of the many tables set up by our sponsors and other venders, or even get a burger from the Baby Berk food truck.

The event will be a Rail Jam for the UMass community and the surrounding area, and will benefit a local charity. A Rail Jam is a competitive skiing and snowboarding event where riders compete to hit rails, boxes and other features to show off their talent. The winner will receive a sponsorship from our primary ski & board sponsor.

It will be broken into four rounds, rounds one through three will have between 25 and 40 riders in them (1/3 of the total) and a panel of 3 judges will pick the best 8 riders from each round to advance to the fourth and final round. During the final round judges will be looking closely at each rider and picking the top three for the podium finish.
